Tequila Ocho Extra Anejo Tequila
Aged a minimum of 6.5 years from blue agaves grown on Las Presas, a high-altitude ranch with roots in the Camarena family going back generations, this limited release extra anejo from Arandas, Jalisco is as rare as it is remarkable.
Crafted under the direction of third-generation tequilero Carlos Camarena at NOM 1474, Tequila Ocho is the product of a celebrated partnership between Camarena and spirits advocate Tomas Estes. Every bottle reflects an artisanal, unhurried approach rooted in the terroir of the Jalisco highlands, where estate-grown agave develops the deep complexity that defines this expression.
- Nose: Vanilla, toasted almonds, caramel, freshly split timber, and dry roasted chiles
- Palate: Roasted agave, sweet potato, dried fruits, honey butter, cinnamon, and clove
- Finish: A dry opening of cacao and cedar that mellows into the warmth of melting milk chocolate and silky custard
The depth and polish of this extra anejo make it a distinguished choice for an Old Fashioned or a Tequila Manhattan, where its long barrel aging and layered sweetness can truly shine alongside a whisper of bitters.
Best enjoyed neat or on a single large ice cube to fully appreciate its complexity. Produced from 100% blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Arandas, Jalisco.
