Mijenta Anejo Tequila

Mijenta Anejo Tequila

Aged for a minimum of 18 months across four bespoke cask types, Mijenta Anejo Tequila is a masterclass in layered complexity, shaped by the vision of celebrated Master Distiller Ana Maria Romero and the highland terroir of Arandas, Jalisco.

Triple distilled for a remarkably smooth foundation, this anejo rests in a thoughtful combination of American white oak, French oak, French acacia, and cherry wood casks, each contributing a distinct dimension to the final spirit. Mijenta's commitment to sustainability runs deep, with paper packaging crafted from agave waste and all packaging elements sourced from Mexican businesses.

  • Nose: Cooked agave with inviting hints of coffee, dark chocolate, and warm caramel
  • Palate: Soft oak and caramelized agave give way to toffee, dried cherries, and a touch of vanilla
  • Finish: Lasting and lingering, with warmth that stays long after the last sip

Mijenta Anejo shines served neat or on a single large ice cube, though its depth of flavor makes it a compelling choice for an elevated Old Fashioned or a refined Tequila Manhattan.

Best enjoyed neat or over ice to honor its complexity. Produced from blue Weber agave in the highlands of Arandas, Jalisco under NOM 1412.
